Volunteers Needed

Do you want to participate in the most visible bi presence at Boston Pride ever?  You've probably heard by now that we are having a float this year so we are really psyched.  We've got a design and people buying decorations and hosting a House Party on Friday, May 21st to raise money. Excellent stuff.

But on the day of Pride we need two fabulous people to act as Pride Marshals for the BRC contingent. No experience necessary but you do need to go to a Marshals meeting to get the deets for the day.

Basically, you arrive earlier than the other folks at the Parade start and tell the Pride people you are there. You get a badge to look official. Then you go to that spot in the parade the group will meet and act as the magnet for all the other people to find you. While you are marching you keep the contingent moving and try to keep them in some semblance of a group. This year with the float there will be some people on board and some people walking. We are going to look great!!

Can you be one of these great people? Email me at nellythrustmor@comcast.net to let me know you want to do it.
